Cricket Betting Markets
The chance to bet on Bangladesh's most loved sport is now on cv966. Understand the different markets and build your own strategy.
| Market Type | Simple Example |
|---|---|
| Match Winner | Bet on which team will win the match — for example, picking Bangladesh in a Bangladesh vs India match. |
| Toss Winner | Which team will win the toss — a straightforward market with two options. |
| Top Batsman | Which batter will score the most runs in a specific innings. |
| Total Runs Over/Under (Total Runs O/U) | A specific line is set — you bet whether the total runs will be over or under that number. |
| Over or Session Runs | Bet on how many total runs will be scored in a specific over. |
| Method of Dismissal | How the next wicket will fall — bowled, caught, run out, etc. |
| Player of the Match | Who will receive the Man of the Match award at the end of the game. |
How does live in-play betting work?
Odds change with every wicket and every over during the match. When a strong team loses a wicket, the opposition's chances of winning increase and the odds shift accordingly. If the run rate becomes difficult in the final overs, the batting team's odds fall. These dynamic changes are what make live betting uniquely thrilling.
Football Betting — Popular Markets
The world's top leagues are hugely popular among Bangladeshi fans. cv966 offers the chance to bet on all these matches.
1X2 (Match Result)
Home win, draw or away win — pick any one of the three. The simplest and most popular market in football.
Double Chance
Cover two of the three possible outcomes with a single bet — a popular strategy to reduce risk.
Over/Under Goals
Whether the total goals in a match will be over or under a set line — typically based on 2.5 goals.
Both Teams to Score (BTTS)
Whether both teams will score — yes or no. This market is especially appealing in high-scoring leagues.
Asian Handicap
The weaker team is given a virtual goal advantage to level the market. Very popular among experienced bettors.
First Goal Scorer
Bet on which player will score the first goal of the match — popular due to high odds.
Late-night matches Bangladesh time: Most major Premier League, La Liga and Champions League matches are played from 11 PM to dawn Bangladesh time. With 24/7 support on cv966, placing a bet at any time is easy. Full markets are also available for World Cup qualifier matches.
Hot Games — Most Popular Right Now
Take a quick look at some of the most played games on cv966 at this moment.
Crash Games — The Thrill of Speed
Games like Spribe's Aviator and JetX have recently gained massive popularity in Bangladesh. The core idea behind these games is straightforward — a plane or rocket takes off and the multiplier keeps rising.
The player must hit the cash out button before the plane or rocket crashes. The longer you wait, the higher the multiplier — but if it crashes, you lose everything. That tension is what makes this game so gripping.

How to Read Odds?
Understanding odds is one of the most important skills in online betting. Odds are displayed in different formats — the easiest is the decimal format.
Decimal Odds
Say the odds are 1.80. If you bet ৳500, your total return will be: ৳500 × 1.80 = ৳900. Of that, ৳500 is your original stake and ৳400 is your net profit.
Implied probability: 1 ÷ 1.80 = 55.6% — meaning the bookmaker estimates the chance of this outcome at around 56%.
A Quick Look at Other Formats
| Format | Example | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 1.80 | ৳1.80 returned for every ৳1 staked |
| Fractional | 4/5 | ৳4 profit for every ৳5 staked (British style) |
| American | -125 | ৳100 profit on a ৳125 bet (negative = favourite) |
